Central Circuit with Margherita peak

Overview
This 7-day expedition is the ultimate Rwenzori Mountains adventure, combining the full Central Circuit with a summit of Margherita Peak (5,109m), the highest point in Uganda and the third highest in Africa. The trek is a demanding and technical mountaineering challenge that ascends through the range's diverse ecosystems—from rainforest to alpine bogs—to establish high-altitude camps. The pre-dawn summit push on Day 5 involves traversing three glaciers and negotiating ice, rock, and exposed terrain to reach the legendary peak. After the ascent, the journey completes the spectacular circuit over high mountain passes with breathtaking views before making the long descent. This is a premier alpine climb for experienced and well-prepared mountaineers seeking a world-class achievement.
