4 Days Mount Moroto Hike

In the morning, our company representative will pick you up from Entebbe International airport or hotel for your transfer to Mount Moroto in the northern region. Mount Moroto is one of the volcanoes along the international border of Uganda with Kenya. As you drive towards the mountain, enjoy the countryside beautiful views of different features like plantations, valleys, hills and many others.  You will arrive at the mountain in the evening hours and put your tents as the mountain specialists prepare your dinner.

In the morning after your breakfast, you will move to the hiking starting point for registration and briefing about the hike. After, you will move through the rainforests as you watch different amazing species like trees and wildlife like monkeys, wildcats and others. The mountain guides will be available for any questions about the mountain and they will also help you through the hiking process. You will reach the summit of the mountain in the evening hours or afternoon hours depending on your physical ability. Dinner and overnight will be at the summit of the mountain as you enjoy the moonlight night.

Wake up and catch the beautiful sunrise at the summit of Mount Moroto, have your delicious breakfast and later prepare for your descend to the starting point. The descend from the summit is always easier than the hike. So, expect to reach the starting point during lunch time and you will be given hiking certificates for recognition. You will later drive to any nearby hotel for rest and overnight.

After your breakfast, you will drive to Entebbe international airport for your departure flight. You can also opt for a city tour in Kampala where you will visit amazing destinations like museums, art and craft shops and many others
