6Summits African Expeditions is trading as 6Summits with knowledgeable team that have been offering advice, tips for Uganda Safaris including Mountaineering & Adventures to Primates trips.

We are company incorporated under the laws of Uganda (Companies Act 2010 as amended) and we belong to various organizations and association by virtue of being tour operator.

Memberships

All Ugandan Tours companies are always registered first as Limited liability company like any other company doing business in Uganda however for one to operate as a Tour operator needs to apply for the Tourism license from the licensing board of UTB which is a statutory body mandated to control, license and do quality assurance for tour operators and hotels.

6Summits is a member of the key state agencies as required by law which include UTB, UWA.

• Uganda Tourism Board:

6Summits limited is licensed by Uganda tourism Board (UTB) that is responsible for managing all tour operators in Uganda as per Uganda Tourism Act 2008. The licensed number for 6Summits is (UTB/RTT/TO/2019/00492).

• Association of Uganda Tour Operators

6Summit trekkers trading as 6summits limited is a member of Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO).  AUTO members observe a strict code of conduct designed to ensure that they trade honestly and professionally at all times. The Association also expects members to comply with the spirit of Uganda’s tourist reputation, offering high quality service, comfort, safety and value to all clients. 6Summits Membership number is 4931.

• Uganda Wildlife Authority

The Uganda Wildlife Authority is body corporate that is responsible for the conservation of wildlife throughout Uganda requires specific guidelines enshrined in THE UGANDA WILDLIFE ACT, 2019.

6Summits is a member of Uganda Wildlife Authority by default as it’s registered with UTB and its registration for UWA is for the allowance of the Company Purchase the Gorilla permits, Chimpanzee permits, Golden Monkey permits and Access to the Uganda National Parks. We are trusted and we can purchase primate Permits for all clients that select to travel with us.
